The Siemens SIMATIC SCD 1897-E is an industrial 18-inch LCD monitor designed for reliable visualization in demanding automation environments. This flush-mount display is part of the proven SIMATIC SCD range and was developed for use in control cabinets and industrial panels where durability and clear image quality are essential.


Equipped with a high-resolution 1280 x 1024 TFT color panel, the monitor delivers sharp and stable visuals with a wide viewing angle. Integrated scaling DSP technology ensures consistent image performance across a horizontal frequency range of 30–97 kHz, making it suitable for a variety of industrial control systems.


The front side is protected by robust safety glass and offers IP65 protection, providing resistance against dust and water jets. Compliance with UL1950 supports use in regulated industrial installations. On-screen controls allow straightforward configuration and adjustment during commissioning and maintenance.


The SCD 1897-E operates on a 230 V AC power supply and is delivered with a 10-meter connecting cable, supporting flexible installation. An express shipment to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, or Italy will arrive the next day. An express shipment to other countries in the European Union takes 2 days. An express shipment to countries outside the European Union takes 3 days.
